About Department

• The department of English came into being from the inception of the   College in June 1971.  The Department has started the Post Graduation course in 1999(Self- Aided). Department has been catering to the needs of teaching English Language and Literature to B.A, B.COM & B.SC promoting interest and creativity in acquiring language and literary skills. The department is run by five vibrant faculty members with innovative minds who aim at enabling the students to realize that the lessons in the texts are also the lessons of life. The faculties strive to equip the students with life skills and language proficiency to excel in any field they choose. The department has well furnished Digital Language Laboratory. Audio / video aids such as English learning videos, CD/ DVDs based on English literary texts.

• Dr. Shrimant Tonde was nominated as a Board of Studies in English, Dr. Babasheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and is a research guide in English.
• Prof. Shivaji Shinde was awarded with Ph.D. degree by Dr. Babasheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
• Dr. A. S. Khan is research guide in English at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. One student has been awarded Ph.D and six students are pursuing PhD under his guidance.
