Extensive Training programs and extracurricular activities through cultural programs, NCC and sports:  

Few of the objectives of our college are to ensure the overall personality development of the students through extracurricular, co- curricular, various extension and cultural activities. Therefore, the college is committed to provide extensive training programs and extracurricular activities through cultural programs, NCC and sports especially for those students coming from rural background. This college has been given the first priority by students because of its distinctiveness with respect to extensive training programs and extracurricular activities along with vibrant curricular and co-curricular activities. Cultural programs, NCC and sports are some areas wherein these practices are conducted.

 

Objectives of the Extensive Training programs:

• To view the inner world of students and thereby enable their holistic development and to showcase the hidden talents of the students through cultural programs.
• To offer various training programs to NCC cadets to prepare them for different services in defence and police services.
• To conduct different sports camps & trainings and also to make available various sports facilities to the students so as to improve their performances in respective games.

The Cultural Activities:

The cultural activities of our college are one of the distinctive features which have proven a valuable lens to view the inner world of students and thereby enable their holistic development. To showcase the hidden talents of the students, the colleges have been providing so many opportunities in terms of infrastructure and education through cultural activities. The department of Dramatics and department of Music are happening to be the backbone of cultural activities organized by the college. Day-by-day the college is getting recognition as a cultural hub in the area. The department of Drama and Music have been started in the year 1998 with envision of creating likings towards the cultural programs and Art among the students specially students from rural areas. These two departments shouldered the responsibilities to provide a concrete platform for students to perform at national level. Certificate and diploma courses are also offered through the cultural department. College have conducted many cultural events and programs in the college campus and students of our college have participated in many cultural activities conducted our college as well as other colleges.

Achievements:

During the las five years, Students of our college have participated in many cultural competitions and won many awards, medals and prizes won by students of our college in various state level and national cultural events, programs and competitions conducted by various institutions.

NCC Camps and Training Programs:

The college provides golden opportunities for students’ placements in Indian army and police department through NCC. That’s why the department of NCC organizes different types of activities, camps and training programs for the NCC cadets with the help of 51 MAH.BN.NCC Aurangabad.

Achievements:

The Following activities, camps and training programs were organized by the department during the last five years.

• Number of camps and training programs conducted by the NCC = 47
• Number of students participated in training programs conducted by the NCC =251
• Number of students got placements in Indian army and police department = 90
