About Department 

The Department of Mathematics was established in year 1972. Initially mathematics started at U.G. level. In 2022 the department started M.Sc. Mathematics. The department is having its separate cabin with PG lab with internet, computer, K-Yan projector, mathematical software facilities.   There are 6 faculty members actively engaged in teaching, research and extension activities.

 The department organizes Conferences, workshops, Webinars, Seminars, Competitions and lecture series. On 22^nd December, Department Celebrates National Mathematics day on the occasion of birth anniversary of great Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan by organizing various Competitions and activities for UG and PG students.

Many students of our students absorbed in the teaching field at different schools, degree colleges, engineering colleges. Some students gets jobs in defense services and civil cervices by qualifying various competititive examinations. 03 Students qualify for NET/SET in last five years.
