                       Microbiology UG department was established in 1984. Mrs. K.S.K. College takes pride in being the first institution to introduce the Department of Microbiology in Beed city. This department has very good infrastructure facility and department is recognized for very strong 'Alumni' of department working in various fields.  The Department of Microbiology comprises three well-equipped laboratories that support effective teaching and practical training. At present, the Department has four qualified and experienced faculty members, including three full-time and one CHB teaching staff member. Dr. S. L. Gutte is currently serving as the Head of the Department. Dr. S.L. Gutte and Dr. R. A. Siddiqui are recognized research guides of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The Department is driven by a team of dedicated and research-oriented faculty members committed to academic excellence. They actively engage in research, publish scholarly articles and textbooks, and contribute significantly to curriculum development and student mentoring. Many students of this department are working abroad in various well-known laboratories. Some students are class one officers, principals, vice principals, some students qualified NET, SET, TOFEL, GATE exams.
